From the desk of the President
Dear CINA Community,
Welcome back!
America is a land of freedom and opportunity, where anything is possible, and the American dream of our founders is still alive today. We also live in a land of huge diversity and with that has come wide diversity of health problems. No one knows the fate of our current healthcare system; however, one thing is certain—the healthcare industry is at a turning point and primed, once again, for a change. Regardless of the outcome of upcoming negotiations, our community needs our help.
In a time of unprecedented uncertainty, I hope this message finds you in good health. Due to the COIVD-19 pandemic, meetings and development have been challenging. I wanted to inform you that CINA board members have been working virtually behind the scenes to further our mission. I personally believe that the success of CINA has been driven by the dedication and commitment of its members, their countless hours of selfless service, and hard work.
It is my pleasure to announce that CINA is now officially registered as a nonprofit organization with the Secretary of the State of California. We have also opened a bank account with Wells Fargo. We worked hard to design a professional and informative website. I want to say “Thank You” for your patience, understanding, and faith in us. We are going to continue meeting virtually on a monthly basis and I welcome you to join us. I also request that you support us by becoming a member of CINA and begin enjoying all the benefits of our local chapter, as well as those of NAINA. You can visit http://nainausa.com/ for more information.
Sincerely,
Dr. Harkirat S. Bal
President
